Well, the 4th of July holiday as come and gone and I’m just trying to get my blog going again. I guess you could say that after a scorching hot holiday in Maine we are now back in a fog. I guess I’m in a fog too with too many summer activities and projects. No complaints.
Anyway, bear with me and I’ll try to get started again with more regular blog entries. The holiday was great. I ran in two road races; the LL Bean 10K and the Cliff Island 3 Miler. Both races were hot so I spent a lot of time swimming in Casco Bay after the races and throughout the weekend. I also went to a few parties and spent a lot of time with friends and family. As always, I tried to keep the weeds in the gardens to a minimum. Yes, the peas were ready for the 4th and the beans will be ready to pick by the weekend. Cool with the kale!
